What you need to get started and how a client differs from a VPN service.
Is LiteConnect a VPN service?
LiteConnect is an app for your connections. It does not sell VPN access or provide keys. You need a compatible key or subscription from your provider or server administrator.
Will my key or subscription work?
Compatibility depends on the key format and server configuration. A list of supported formats will be available with the first release. Until then, we cannot promise compatibility with every provider.
Do I need to create an account?
You do not need a separate LiteConnect account: you add your own access. If your VPN provider requires an account, that account remains with them.
What determines speed and limits?
Your internet connection, server, and VPN provider’s terms. Your provider sets traffic limits, subscription expiry, and available servers. LiteConnect does not renew subscriptions or change their terms.
Can I download the app now?
Not yet. We’re preparing the first release. When builds are ready, official links and requirements for each available platform will appear in the downloads section.
